Six SPA swimmers ranked in the top 10 in the nation this past year including three number one finishes.
Leading the group were Robert Finke and Summer Finke, each of whom ranked in the top 10 in the country in 6 events. Peyton Palsha was ranked in 5 events, Luke Hanner in 2 events, Joshua Chen andEmma Spilman in 1 event each.
Robert Finke finished 1st in the country in the 800 Freestyle, 4th in both the 400 Freestyle and the 1000 Freestyle, 6th in both the 200 Freestyle LC and the 500 Freestyle and 8th in the 1650 Freestyle. Summer Finke, finished 1st in the country in both the 1000 Freestyle and the 1650 Freestyle, 2nd in both the 800 Freestyle and 1500 Freestyle, 3rd in the 500 Freestyle, and 4th in the 400 Freestyle. Peyton Palsha was 5th in the 200 Freestyle LC, 6th in the 800 Freestyle, 8th in both the 400 Freestyle and 1500 Freestyle, and 10th in the 1000 Freestyle. Luke Hanner finished 6th in both the 800 Freestyle and the 200 Butterfly LC. Joshua Chen was 9th in the 100 Breaststroke LC, and Emma Spilman finished 3rd in the 200 Butterfly LC.
