The 2010 Florida Swimming Short Course Senior Championships wrapped up this past Sunday. In team competition, SPA finished 4th in Girls Team Scores and overall, SPA finished 10th out of 39 teams. Individually, Melanie Margalis won the Women's Open Division with 106 points. In that same division, Kaitlin Frehling scored 47 points, Lauren Piper 36 points, and Colleen Quinn 7 points. In the 15/16 Women's Division, Ashley Reid was 5th with 77 points while Jessica Piper was 7th with 74 points. Autumn Finke scored 49 points, Alexandra Jones 47 points, and Hope Andrews with 2 points in that same division. For the men, Jonathan Taddeo had 13 points in the Open Division while Georgi Krastev finished with 22 points. Also swimming for SPA were Zack Bedell, Kaitlin Carr, Stefan Demjanovic, Tommy Jockers, Sean Kendrick, and Paige Tripp.

Individually, Joshua Chen finished 2nd overall in the 11/12 Boys with 111 points, only 3 points behind first; Summer Finke finished 2nd overall in the 13/14 Girls with 104 points, only 3 behind first as well; Robert Finke was 4th in the 10&Under Boys with 98 points while Bexhet Dovolani was 6th with 92 points; John Farese was 12th overall in the 13/14 Boys group with 70 Points. Also scoring points for SPA were 13/14 Girls Caroline Neely, 40.5 points, Marissa Marckese, 39.5 points, Mickey Hubbard, 10 points; 11/12 Girls Macy Marshburn, 34 points; 10&Under Girls Lindsey Leadbetter, 27 points, Peyton Palsha, 21 points; 11/12 Boys Olivier Gilbert, 21 points, Jonathan Long, 20 points. In addition competing for SPA were Calvin Bryant, Amanda Burrows, Alex Grant, Jessica Green, Chloe Hubbard, Hristina Krasteva, Mark Marshburn, and Jenna McQueen.
