Southern Zone Sectionals
|
|
|
SPA finished 11th overall with 89.5 points. Individual points came from Kaitlin Frehling- 35.50, Ashley Reid- 26, Alexandra Jones- 13, Katie Coleman-9, and Autumn Finke-6.
Up next: FL Junior Olympics.
Thursday:
Cameron Chambers, Autumn Finke and Alexandra Jones started off the championship meet tonight in Gainesville. For the Senior 1500, Autumn finished 12th with a time of 17:46.24 and Alexandra finished 9th with a time of 17:33.56. Cameron represented the Senior men swimming the 800 fr in 8:41.27. He finished 12th. Swimming continues tomorrow with the 200 fr, 100 br, 100 fly and 400 IM.
Friday:
Swimming continued Friday at the Fast Southern Zone Southern Sectional meet with three SPA swimmers swimming in finals. In A Finals: Kaitlin Frehling- 6th 100 Fly (1:04.03) and Ashley Reid- 6th 400 IM (5:02.66). In C Finals: Katie Coleman- 21st 100 Fly (1:05.64) and Ashley Reid- 17th 100 Breast (1:17.08). Also swimming Friday: Cameron Chambers, Kayley Chevailier, Allie Evans, Autumn Finke, Georgi Krastev, Alexandra Jones, Colleen Quinn, and Jon Taddeo.
Saturday:
Swimming in Finals tonight: A Finals: Kaitlin Frehling 50 Free (5th- 26.91). C Finals: Alexandra Jones 200 IM (21st- 2:26.27); Ashley Reid 100 Back (23rd- 1:08.68) , 200 IM (17th- 2:23.10). Also swimming Saturday: Cameron Chambers, Kayley Chevailier, Allie Evans, Autumn Finke, Georgi Krastev, Colleen Quinn, and Jon Taddeo. Swimming concludes tomorrow with the 200 fly, 200 Breast, 200 Back, 800 Free (girls), 1500 free (boys).
Sunday:
The Southern Zone Sectional Meet concluded today. Swimming in the Woman's 800 free timed finals was Kayley Chevalier (38th-9:31.82), Allie Evans (27th- 9:22.06), Autumn Finke (18th- 9:13.71), and Alexandra Jones (13th- 9:11.29). Swimming in the Men's 1500 free timed finals was Cameron Chambers (14th-16:46.40).
Swimming in B-Finals: Katie Coleman 200 Fly (9th-2:19.70), Autumn Finke 200 Back (16th- 2:27.62), Kaitlin Frehling 100 Free (9th- 58.88), and Ashley Reid 200 Br (9th- 2:43.60) 200 Back (13th 2:24.70)
